Liloan is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Southern Leyte, Philippines. Liloan is located at the northern part of Panaon Island which is connected to the main island of Leyte.
"Liloan" is derived from the local term for whirlpool, which is "lilo". Whirlpools can be seen at the narrow strait between the main island of Leyte and Panaon.
Ang Liloan ay sikat sa kanilang tourist spot at isa na dito ang Sand Bar na kung saan maeenjoy mo ang maputing sand na makikita sa gitna ng karagatan.
